Founded in Temperance Michigan in 2002, the IRONHEAD group of companies relocated in 2008 to Toledo, Ohio. With direct access to the Great Lakes, IRONHEAD operates two fabrication shops and the Toledo Shipyard with its two graving docks.
IRONHEAD is a diverse, heavy industrial fabricator and equipment assembler and a full service supplier of ship modifications, repairs and construction. Utilizing union Machinists and Boilermakers in its workforce IRONHEAD is an experienced fabricator/assembler that can fabricate & assemble heavy equipment.
IRONHEAD has easy access to major interstates, several rail yards and shipping via its dockside shops or through the Port Of Toledo and is centrally located to major cities in the Great Lakes region.
IRONHEAD annually completes in excess of $10 Million in projects. IRONHEAD is owned and operated by its President, Tony LaMantia, a University of Toledo graduate with 20 years experience in the industrial fabrication/contracting and marine industry.
